We’re thrilled to offer a special small business collaboration with Simi Valley Aquatics. This collaboration enables you to book an indoor, ultra-warm and cozy, heated pool AND a mermaid at a substantial discount.
One of our beautiful mermaids will drop by to your indoor pool party for 30 minutes or more of photos, meet and greet, and swim time with your guests. Parties that are longer than 30 minutes feature add-ons like games and your choice of balloon twisting and/or glitter tattoos.

Pricing
Pool / Facility Rental Pricing: $400 / 2 hours. This includes the private use of the facility, showers, party room, bathrooms, and the designated party pool. One party host and one lifeguard from the facility are included in this rate. Pricing subject to change by facility, please verify current price with facility before booking your party.

Mermaid is not included in facility fee.
Tips are not included in the fee but are always welcomed by the staff should you so choose.
Mermaid Pricing: Starting at $250 / 30 minutes within the existing party time that you reserve at Simi Valley Aquatics. Please note that Saturday afternoons are our most popular times and require a 1 hour booking minimum.
Facility is not included in mermaid fee.
The mermaid is only a mermaid, it is not the same person as the pool party host or the lifeguard provided by the facility.
Tips are not included in the fee but are normal in the party entertainment industry. 15% is average.
BOOKING
Contact us to check on mermaid availability, we recommend asking us to check at least 4 dates for you. We’ll reply with which ones we’re currently available on.
Immediately reserve your facility rental through Simi Valley Aquatics on the same day that we tell you our availability. You can call Simi Valley Aquatics to request a reservation at 805-443-7946 for expedited service.
Let us know which date you have reserved with the facility. We’ll then send over our own mermaid invoice and contract to book your mermaid.
Once you pay your invoice and sign your contract we’ll send you an email to confirm your mermaid reservation with us.
CAPACITY
Packages are limited to a maximum of 30 swimmers, ages 6+.
Each swimming guest age six and up will be counted as one swimmer. Children under the age of six must be accompanied by an adult and together count as one swimmer.

What to Bring
Your birthday cake, food, and drinks for your guests.
These items may be consumed in the party room, not in the swimming pool room.
Plastic utensils, plates, and serving equipment for any food that you are bringing in.
Table cloths for 6’ rectangular tables.
Your swim suit, goggles, towels, and dry clothing.
2 reusable swim diapers for any diaper-wearing kids. The facility has these available on site for purchase in case you don’t own them. Each child in diapers is required to wear two, on top of each other, to prevent any accidents from entering the water.
Painter’s tape or easy to remove tape for any signs or decorations that you wish to use.
Please note that you are not allowed to staple, nail, paint, glue, or puncture the walls in the party room.
What NOT to Bring (e.g., these things aren’t allowed)
Glass containers, glasses, or other serving items.
Bubble gum
Smoke / cigarettes / vape pens
BBQs or other sources of open flame, including “streamer” or “sparkler” type of birthday candles. Standard, small, birthday candles are ok.
Parking
Ample, free, parking in the parking lot in front of the facility is available.
Pool Depth and Temperature
The pools are designed for children and are kept at 90 degrees - just perfect for kids!
The designated party pool has a max depth of 4.5’. Shallow areas with stairs and handrails are available for the littlest guests who wish to enjoy the water with their parents or guardians.
Mermaid-Related Questions
What mermaid would be there?
Typically Mermaid Catalina works at this venue. You cannot choose the mermaid. If she becomes unavailable then we automatically swap in one of our other professional mermaids wearing a silicone, film level, tail.
What does the mermaid wear?
Typically her turquoise blue sparkle tail.
How does the mermaid arrive?
She hides out of sight at the venue until she’s ready to appear. Once it’s time for her to go to the pool a member of the pool staff helps her to get to it.
What does the mermaid do?
She poses for photos, swims, and chats with your guests in character.
Can I add on an additional mermaid?
Not typically but you’re welcome to ask if we have another local mermaid available to attend as a second performer.
Due to travel costs, adding on a second mermaid from outside of Simi Valley is typically around $300 / 30 minutes.
Can I pay more to have the mermaid there longer?
Yes, at a rate of $125 for each additional 15 minutes of time.
What happens if the mermaid gets sick or can’t make it?
We always try our best to be at every party but sometimes sickness happens. If our mermaid gets sick then we automatically swap her out with one of our other pro mermaids to attend your party. If we need to make this swap then your rate still remains the same for the mermaid appearance.
